Rachel appeared on TLC'S Who Are You Wearing: a reality t.v. show where four designers compete to dress a celebrity on the red carpet. The show debuted August 22, 2008 at 10E/9C on TLC. Rachel was in the fifth episode which aired September 19th, 2008! Rachel competed to dress Laila Ali. The show edited out a lot of important things, according to Rachel. One of the things that was vital to Rachel's struggle on the show was that her pink fabric was flawed, preventing her from creating a band around the waist. The show also made it seem like Rachel asked for a seamstress right away, when she really only used one for an hour and a half! But Rachel thoroughly enjoyed watching the show and felt honored to have made it that far.
Missouri State Project Runway 2007: The Standard. Published on 10/26/07. This article included a picture of Rachel's design as well as some blurbs from her model.
Rachel has participated in her school's spring fashion shows in 2006, 2007, and 2008. She also had several garments in a local fashion show in November 2007 called, "The Front Porch Fashion Show."
